I love what I do.
You will too.

I'm Gary Cheers

I conquer digital challenges

I have an extensive strategic and technical understanding of how digital solutions are delivered to current best practice. My knowledge and experience encompass the full delivery lifecycle. From initial strategy and scoping onto the creation of highly intuitive and engaging UI/UX built upon fit for purpose technical architecture and security. My passion for data analysis is then able to quantify opportunities which can further improve performance and drive growth over time.

Seeking Next Big Challenge

I've been heavily involved in the strategy and development of enterprise level digital solutions primarily encompassing web and ecommerce for almost two decades. I have an incredible passion for what I do and I am always looking to expand my knowledge further whilst progressing my analytical & strategic skills with every new project.

I'm looking for a new, exciting challenge within a vibrant, forward thinking environment where I can offer my knowledge and experience to an existing company who seek to further their own digital ambitions.

Whilst I have a passion for analysis and strategy, my skills are wide and varied so it's important that any opportunity fits well for both parties.

I'd like to remain in Shropshire and close to North Wales and so I am seeking opportunities which are in and around Shrewsbury with an ideal journey time of less than 30mins but no more than 40mins.

Career so far

My passion for computing began at an early age. I coded games and music on my Spectrum 16k pushing the limits of what it could do until my parents were forced to upgrade it to 48k! Ahhhhh the nostalgia.

My university was one of the first in the country to provide Internet access. I embraced it early on and have enjoyed, explored and immersed myself in it's inner workings and closely overseen and scrutinised it's impact on humanity ever since.
